a girl growing up in the 21st century could only understand heroes through the eyes of a comic artist and running images on the television. such heroes have been superficially labeled with super powers, capes, and masks. they were the only heroes she could remember from her childhood. flying over the pacific ocean at the age of ten, she began a new life, a new character; her whole world started over. she shook new hands and met new eyes; nothing extraordinary. every glance sought similar steps, but a few exceptional people shone in the light as they danced passionately to their rhythmic lifestyles- speaking the same words and singing the same songs. no one, however, could express the passion they lived for- not even her. transparent eyes show their heroic hearts beating within. hence, when this girl comes across a true hero- she will see super powers, weaknesses, a cape and a mask.
