"Behold, I make all things new." - Rev 21:5

10.05.2009

beginning.

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.

people, places, and time periods are few of the details that color the story of our lives; hardly any of these make it in the same shape from their chapter to the last page. only the strong ones make it. only the best places can paint our final journeys. only God's timing can make things work. but as usual, we won't realize this until that last page.

if you're a writer who shares my burden, you can sympathize when i say how difficult it is to start a new page.

everything is so new. though everything is physically the same, the dust left on the road by those who could no longer stay creates a completely different atmosphere. their dusting memories seem to be piling up on the straight lines i used to guide myself before. i know in this life there is only one 'page 1' and one, well, 'page fin.' the middle is the 'starting over' or the 'new beginning' part.
and i have been, for the longest time, staring at a blank future. for some reason, i feel so intimidated by the lines ahead of me. i'm at my umpteenth 'starting over' part and this has probably been by far the hardest chapter to write.

to be continued...
