"Behold, I make all things new." - Rev 21:5

Godlessness.

“Right now, we’re seeing atheism on such a rise,” said David Silverman, vice president and national spokesman of American Atheists, a group dedicated to fighting for the civil rights of atheists.

“We are seeing Christianity on such a dramatic decline that we’re not particularly worried about it. We’re thinking that this kind of old-style George W. Bush Republicanism is about to go away,” Silverman said, referring to the latest Pew Forum survey of American religious life, which showed nonreligious Americans as the fastest-growing group.

Let's stop being only Christians on paper, in rising and declining statistics. It's not what matters. What we need is our conviction. No one else is going to fight for what is right except those who truly believe and live for the TRUTH. There is one and will always be ONE truth. The wave has always been against us, but if He is with us, who can be against us?

I've seen myself compromise what I live for - what I am. Every moment of holding back have been moments of built up shame. I lost sight of the most important thing - God. The God that was there, is here and the God that will be around forever and ever. Writing this alone scares me because I know there are so many out there who think otherwise or who don't really see His beauty. It's not false, I don't believe it because it helps me understand ideas and things that science fail to explain, but because it is EVERYTHING that is true. It is what's embedded in our souls, an innate conviction; once we have His love in our hearts, we will know this for sure. I am capable of THINKING, REASONING, and if I know with ALL MY HEART that God is real, God is God, then I'm pretty a million percent certain that He is.

Religion is beginning to have a negative connotation and I don't understand why it would. Religion simply means relationship with God. It's not 'slavery' to a God, it's not a CULT. It's a relationship with God! How is it that everyone else gets to fight for THEIR right to be with whoever they want to be even in the most extreme cases and us, Christians, sit here instead of standing up for our love for God?! I know that I am not alone when I say that I am all for Him, but at the same time I know that I am not alone in not doing so much more than just saying those words.

It is a mystery, so expect yourself to never fully understand... otherwise, you'd be God... and you're not. Believing and understanding are TWO completely separate things. One needs not to understand to trust, or believe. Get God out of that box and realize that ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE with Him. He can do anything.

Any relationship is a two-way street. It's time to do our part in making it work.
